Dry Hopping is not essential with this beer but if you'd like to experiment you could try 40g of Hersbrucker in the fermenter 3 days before packaging.

Artisanale Fresh Wort Kit - Aussie Draught (16.5L)

Grain and Grapes wort kits are usually made in house on a Speidel 500L Braumeister Brewery. However, this particular brew was brewed at Two Birds Brewery in Spotswood as part of System Wars 2017 at Grain and Grape. As with all of our Artisanale kits it is all grain and brewed true to style.

NOTE: These kits are generally designed to add 3 litres of water to dilute.

 

General Specifications

Grist make up: JW Pilsner, Vienna 5%

Approximate cube volume: 16.5L Plus 3L of extra water added.

Starting Gravity: 1.045.

Flavour hopped with Hersbrucker hops.

Bittering hops 20 IBUs using Warrior hops

Recommended yeasts for most brewers:
WLP001 - California Ale, WLP090 - San Diego Super Ale, LalBrew - BRY97 West Coast Ale, Fermentis US-05
or for more adventurous or advanced brewers a lager yeast fermented at cooler temperatures like Lallemands Diamond Lager yeast.
